Municipal Restructurings
Municipal restructuring involves reorganizing local government entities to improve efficiency, enhance service delivery, and better meet community needs. This process may include incorporation (becoming a municipality), annexation (adding other areas to an existing municipality), amalgamation (joining 2 or more municipalities together), or dissolution (becoming unincorporated). As communities and municipalities face challenges like population growth and fiscal constraints, restructuring becomes essential for sustainable development.
